CONFIDENTIALITY OF CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE ON LABEL OR SAFETY DATA SHEET (USE OF ALTERNATIVE CHEMICAL NAME)

Content addition date : 10-12-2019

Many companies do not prefer the disclose their formulation of products to secure their CBI. Because of this concern, they aim to hide some substances in their composition, on the label or on the Safety Data Sheet. However, this process must comply with legal regulations as otherwise it would be in breach of the regulation causing penalties. The Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (SEA Regulation) provides relevant detailed provisions on the conditions and requirements for the process.

CRAD provides professional consultancy support for the process in accordance with regulations to ensure the confidentiality of your formula.

We can carry out the application process for approval of the use of the alternative chemical name of substances from the Competent Authority on behalf of your company and support you to secure your CBI.
