What is the purpose of the New Turkish CLP Regulation?

Turkey aims to harmonize its chemical legislation with the EU REACH and CLP regulation. For that reason, Turkish CLP implementation has been published by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on the date of 11th December 2013 on the Official Gazette with the number 28848.

Turkish CLP which we can call with its Turkish abbreviation as SEA aims to provide protection human health and environment against negative effects which may arise from substances, preparations and articles in the market and to arrange their administrative and technical requirements regarding classification, labeling and packaging.
