Which Products Are Considered Biocidal Products?

If you are placing your product on the domestic market with a claim that it is a biocidal product, or intend to do so, and it contains at least one or more active substances (excluding biocidal products without active substances covered by the notification), you must obtain a license from the Ministry under the Biocidal Products Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated December 31, 2009, No. 27449 (4th Repeated) Official Gazette dated December 31, 2009, No. 27449 (4th Repeated).

A biocidal product claim means substances and mixtures containing active substance(s) that have a controlling effect on any harmful organism from a chemical or biological point of view, or that restrict its movement, repel it, render it harmless, or destroy it.
