What is the Purpose of CLP Regulation?

Its equivalent in Turkey is; Regulation No. 28848 on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures. (SEA Regulation)

Purposes of CLP Regulation;

• To ensure that the harmfulness of chemicals is determined within the framework of the Global Harmonized  System.
• Ensuring correct labelling and packaging of chemicals.
• To provide a high level of protection for human health and the environment against risks that may arise from the harmful properties of chemicals,
• To ensure the free movement of substances, mixtures and goods.
